Against a striking black background, superbly executed "bokashi" shading; lightly "gauffraged" (embossed) feathers; and using variuos shades of gray with touches of colour in the bird'd beak, eye and legs,. The snowflakes created by unprinted areas.

The most sought and highly valued of Koson's designs. "Richard Illing describes the print as 'a masterpiece of graphic art'. Rarely available
